In this Project 1.5V DC to 220V AC, we are going to make a very simple low-power inverter. We have used some components to make this project. Even this project can be make with scrap components present at your own home. The inverter circuit is used to convert the DC current to AC current. You can make this project withoutany hesitation, but it is an experimental circuit; it can be used for commercial use.
There are two types of inverters
- True/pure sine wave inverters
- quasi or modified inverters.
Pure sine wave inverters are costly, while modified or quasi inverters are less expensive.
Modified/quasi inverters produce square waves, and these are not used to power pure equipment. Modified square wave inverters use transistors and transformers to produce AC current from DC current.
In this project we have made a very simple inverter that can be used to glow the AC LED bulb of 1 watt; however, its power can be increased if you rewind the transformer yourself.
Components 1.5v to 220v AC simple inverter
- Transformer from mobile Charger
- A transistor from old CFL circuit (13003/13005 or any other NPN transistor)
Transformer Points
The points that have maximum resistance will be taken for output, and other points can be used as input points according to the circuit diagram.
Transistor
You can use any NPN transistor, and we have used the D13003 NPN transistor in this circuit.
Points of the D13003 transistor are shown in the diagram given.
circuit diagram is presented there; you can use it with a 1W LED bulb only
Final Project of 1.5 to 220v AC
This project has very low power output, and it’s only for experiments. This project is not for commercial use; please use this for learning. If you want to use it for home appliances, then please visit this one and use it for your home appliances.
